Kristen Buchholz is an experiential and environmental designer focused on the connection between physical spaces and human behavior. She believes that design is a tool to create a more equitable, accessible, and kind world.
She is currently working with SYPartners in New York, NY and is a co-founder of Waverly.Studio.
Kristen worked and resided in Abu Dhabi, UAE during 2019 while collaborating on the UAE Pavilion experience for the Dubai Expo (currently postponed until 2021). Additionally, Kristen has worked with clients such as American Express, Hilton, Prudential, AARP, WW (formerly Weight Watchers), The Obama Foundation, Planned Parenthood, and Forbes.
Kristen loves getting her hands dirty with interests in illustration, 3D printing, beekeeping, and culinary creativity.
